Your first instruction was already about one subject alone — narrowing to
one subject again would spend a second search on the same result. What is
left to give up is the QUALIFIERS you added around the subject.

Strip the query back to the term for the subject itself, still carrying the
period and the region. What goes is everything you added around it to
describe how this particular one looked or what condition it was in.
Qualifiers narrow a web index far harder than they narrow meaning: real
examples of the subject exist in quantity, but one that also satisfies four
added qualifiers may have no photograph on the web at all.

★★ THE PERIOD AND THE REGION ARE NOT QUALIFIERS YOU TRADE AWAY. They are
the two coordinates that decide whether what comes back is the right thing
at all, and nothing after this step checks either of them again. Everything
else can go; those two stay, written the way the region-and-period block
writes them, and never replaced by an expression reaching over a longer
span of time or a wider area.

The specificity of the subject itself does not change either. If you were
given one exact real thing, the second attempt still looks for that exact
thing. If you were given a kind of thing, you may name it one step more
plainly — the everyday word for the kind, without role, colour or material
— but always with the period and the region.
